Letraw was
established in the 1930s for the purpose of making knitted copper and metal
sponges.
Over the
years, other uses such as air filters, breathers and separators were made
for cars, trucks and farm equipment which is still in use today.
We produced a wide variety of products
for industrial use such as copper gauze or copper wool
filters for cleaning and filtration, while aluminum
lint-trap mesh is used on washing machine discharge
hoses to prevent clogging of pipes. These are just a
few examples of many applications where knitted wire
mesh can be used.
Letraw is in it's seventh decade (third
generation) of manufacturing wire mesh products.
